Who We Are

Byrd’s Nest Outreach, Inc. is a faith-based, 501 (c)(3) recognized non-profit organization that believes every woman is unique and born with purpose. Unfortunately, as a result of being exposed to negative environmental factors, family dynamics, and life’s many challenges, they often make decisions that lead them off the path to purpose. We believe with faith in Jesus Christ, education, belief in self, a determined attitude, guidance, and support, single women faced with homelessness can begin again and alter the trajectory of their life, strengthen their family, community, and SOAR to their divine destiny.

Vision

The vision of Byrd’s Nest Outreach, Inc. is to be an organization for social change supporting homeless single women on their journey to become emotionally healthy, financially stable, and permanently housed.

Mission

Byrd’s Nest Outreach, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) faith based non-profit corporation whose mission is to model Christ-like character as we work to break the cycle of homelessness among single women and improve their quality of life.

Method

The method in which Byrd’s Nest Outreach, Inc. will fulfill its mission is by providing a Transitional Housing Program. The program is designed to educate, encourage and equip single women with the skills and strategies necessary to:

achieve self-sufficiency
restore hope and self-confidence
secure employment
sustain permanent housing
strengthen healthy relationships

The program services are provided in one of our five (5) focus areas: Education, Health and Wellness, Interpersonal and Life Skills, Job Readiness, and Spiritual Growth.
